Captain Don McCune has passed away on July 4,2007 leaving behind his loving wife Captain Barrie McCune who he cherished and loved so very much during his life, as the caring and loving man that he was. He leaves behind his sons Captain Lee McCune and Captain Chuck Norris and grandchildren Michael McCune, Dylan Norris, and Drew Norris who he has touched their lives forever with his loving and caring presence. Brother to Diana McCune Jones and Henry Jones his brother-in-law, Daughter-in-law Captain Diane McCune and Terri Norris. Nieces and nephews Tracy Jones, Steven Jones, Adriana Jones, Milena Jones. For a man's wealth is truly measured by those lives he touched and leaves lasting memories with all those that he has met. Captain Don McCune has known the love of many that he has touched in his years on earth. Many throughout history have tried to live forever in the minds of those they have loved and the lives they have touched, Captain Don McCune has accomplished this legacy. Although the earth is a huge planet, it's just become smaller with the loss of such a great man, a loving husband, a caring brother, a loving and doting father and a grandfather, and a knowledgeable captain. Captain Don McCune has spent 3 decades of his life protecting the last place of natural beauty that the United States holds so dearly " THE FLORIDA KEYS ". Captain Don McCune cared for all the creatures great and small that were put here to grace all. A true champion of nature and all that God has created. His love for his family and the Keys was reflected in the way he lived his life, the way he protected all that he loved, So now God has chosen a new task for this great man. |
